our little pink rule book

Hello friends! A post after a long time. And a little different from the usual πŸ™‚ .

As my little boy started growing, he questioned each and every bit of advice or directions from my side. It became increasingly difficult to reason out with him. So we came up with the idea of making rules. Rules that were generated mutually by kids and mom/dad. Since the kids were involved in making the rules, it became easy for them to accept and follow πŸ™‚

We started off by scribbling them on whatever pieces of paper were handy when a rule was getting incarnated πŸ˜€ . We didn’t want to forget them! Then to get them in order, we started filing them. And when the number just kept increasing, hubby Β dear got us a beautiful pink book, and we created a formal version of our rule book πŸ™‚ .

We don’t follow all of these rules all the time, but they have definitely helped us in creating a strong base. Whenever we feel things are going out of our hands, we take out our pink bible for references πŸ˜€ .

Sharing the digitised version now with you all. Hope you enjoy them, and maybe find them useful πŸ˜€ . You may need to zoom in, my handwriting is like that of a 4th grade student πŸ˜› .
